Love Our Neighbours

MCC serves as a beacon of hope and transformation in our community, demonstrating Christ’s love through our action. We engage with our local community, building relationships and encouraging outreach beyond our church walls. We strive to meet human needs in our community, providing practical assistance to those who need help. We uphold social justice, advocating for the marginalized and addressing issues of inequality and injustice in our community.

Love New Canadians

New Canadians living right here in Mississauga are seeking friendship and community.  Our church is eager to share God’s love with immigrant neighbors who are living in our neighborhoods. Our Love New Canadians ministry provides a safe and welcome environment where new immigrants and foreign students can improve their language skills, learn more about Canadian culture, and find a pathway to Jesus. Our first ESL classes happen on Tuesday mornings at our Meadowvale site. Additional classes and outings will be scheduled in the new year.

Others Ministries

Others Ministries for Justice is a dynamic program dedicated to mentoring young adults (ages 18-30) in social justice advocacy, with a focus on issues like modern slavery and human trafficking. Participants receive in-depth training and are encouraged to take meaningful action through regular street outreach in the city and participation in both local and international mission trips. This ministry is designed for passionate young adults who are eager to be world changers and make a lasting impact in their communities and beyond.

Brave

Brave is a catalytic movement dedicated to educating and empowering girls (ages 12-17)  from vulnerable situations, aiming to engage them before they become victims of sexual exploitation and trafficking. The Salvation Army in Mississauga is partnering with BRAVE in reaching the most vulnerable and at-risk youth, showing them that they are seen, they matter, and they are not alone.

Brave’s mission is to prevent the exploitation and trafficking of girls through events and small group mentoring sessions.

Church On Wheels

We believe that the church extends beyond the walls of a building. Through our Church on Wheels trailer, we bring the hands and feet of Jesus into the city, joining Him where He is already at work. This trailer is available for any ministry dedicated to reaching the community and serving those in need. As followers of Christ, we are called to be a light in dark places, and Church on Wheels enables us to do just that—bringing hope and love wherever it’s needed.

Homeless Ministry

The Homeless Ministry is dedicated to serving and supporting the most vulnerable in our city. Our mission goes beyond meeting physical needs like food and clothing; we aim to ensure that every individual feels seen, known, and valued by building meaningful relationships. We currently serve meals and build friendships once or twice a month in the heart of our city and are actively looking to expand our efforts. We welcome volunteers who are passionate about making a difference in the lives of those in need.

Food Banks

Emergency food and clothing, a listening ear, community referrals, advocacy and other tangible support is provided for those who are seeking support.
