Summer Camps
Every year we send 80 children to our summer camps for a life changing experience. Our camps are operated by The Salvation Army Ontario Camping Ministries.
Ontario Camping Ministries seeks to ensure campers, staff, and volunteers feel a sense of belonging within this safe and fun community, that they are encouraged to grow in a variety of areas through camp opportunities, and that they experience and learn more about Jesus and His amazing love for them. Registration starts in February, please contact your local site for more information on the registration process.
Blaze Adventure Camp
(ages 7-10)
Camp Blaze, on Lake Simcoe just one hour north of Toronto, is the summer adventure that kids are waiting for. Each day will be filled with fun activities. They will learn new skills, and try activities like archery, sports, canoeing, swimming, rock climbing, and as the sun sets they’ll be taken on a wagon ride.
They can also run the gauntlet in the inflatable challenge course or jump high in the bouncy castle. Camp is here to help kids live courageously, make new friends, have a positive attitude and learn some new life lessons.
Newport Adventure Camp (ages 11-15)
Race along the bike trails, conquer the heights of the ropes course, and venture out on the kayaks. Experience Newport Adventure Camp this summer! This camp is about new things…experiencing the wilderness of Muskoka, swimming in the blue water of Skeleton Lake or shooting hoops on our amazing basketball court. There are crazy theme days, activities together as a cabin group and camp wide events that are bursting with excitement. Come and experience what camp is all about this summer.
Moms & Kids Camp
Moms and Kids Camp, also on Lake Simcoe, is a great way to get away and spend some quality time outdoors with your kids. Our team will provide programming for your kids throughout the week so you have some time to focus on you. Enjoy camp activities such as swimming, canoeing, rock climbing, worship, sessions and more at Jackson’s Point Camp.
