Love New Canadians

We care about how new Canadians and international students integrate into the Canadian culture and landscape. Our Love New Canadians ministry helps immigrants learn the English language in a conversational setting and learn about the Canadian culture in a safe and friendly environment. The program runs Tuesday mornings at the Meadowvale site and Thursday evenings at the Cawthra site. If you are new to our country, or know someone who is, please call 905-279-3941 for more details.

Back to School Support

We know that preparing your children for school can be costly to families. This is another area where we strive to build community and strengthen families, by offering backpacks, lunch kits, supplies, school clothing and moral support for those that qualify for assistance. Distribution takes place during the months of July and August. Donations of school supplies can be received anytime throughout the year from companies, service clubs, or individuals.
