Supportive Programs
Our three different sites in Mississauga offer a helping hand in many different tangible ways. We offer a variety of programs and supports to help people of all walks of life when they might need a hand, or a step up. Please contact us if you are interested in any one of our programs and we will gladly assist you.

Free Tax Clinic
Tax Clinics are available during the tax season of March and April. You can visit in person on Wednesdays at our Collegeway location, or you can email your documents directly to SAEMCVITP@Gmail.com.
This program is for low income simple tax returns. Those with a more complicated return will need to file elsewhere.
Forever Young Inside (FYI) Seniors Program
FYI is a twice monthly program on the second and fourth Thursday of every month for seniors 60+. Our aim is to provide a space to connect, have fun, build and strengthen relationships with friends, both old and new. This program offers special guest speakers, education related to seniors’ wellness as well as seniors-based activities. It also includes a light lunch for only $5 per person.

Love New Canadians
We care about how new Canadians and international students integrate into the Canadian culture and landscape. Our Love New Canadians ministry helps immigrants learn the English language in a conversational setting and learn about the Canadian culture in a safe and friendly environment. The program runs Tuesday mornings at the Meadowvale site and Thursday evenings at the Cawthra site. If you are new to our country, or know someone who is, please call 905-279-3941 for more details.
Back to School Support
We know that preparing your children for school can be costly to families. This is another area where we strive to build community and strengthen families, by offering backpacks, lunch kits, supplies, school clothing and moral support for those that qualify for assistance. Distribution takes place during the months of July and August. Donations of school supplies can be received anytime throughout the year from companies, service clubs, or individuals.

Anger Management Services
At MCC we offer an 8 week course for both men and women, which covers topics like the definition of anger, anger styles, domestic violence, road-rage and communication. This program has transformed peoples’ lives.
A fee of $125 covers the 8 week course which takes place Wednesday evenings from 6:30-8:30 via Zoom, offered multiple times from September to June.
