As prices climb, support is more important than ever
The price of everyday essentials has risen sharply, making it harder for working families to keep up without sacrificing other necessities.
Grocery costs are climbing
When a growing portion of income goes to keeping a roof overhead, food is often the first budget that gets cut.
Rent and housing are taking more than ever
Many Mississaugans accessing food banks are employed. The gap between what people earn and what things cost is wider than it's ever been.
Full-time work no longer guarantees food security
A medical bill, a car repair, or a job disruption can push a household that was just getting by into a genuinely difficult situation
One unexpected expense can change everything
